No Nonsense Parenting

Parenting is the art of acting in your child’s long-term best interests. That doesn’t mean they get what they want all the time. It’s about teaching them how to get what they want in a way that works for us all.

Put another way, the job of parents should be to teach their children a set of behaviours that will help them be effective adults.

Compliance and flexibility are the very basis of the social contract. Without them families are chaotic. With them, helping children learn more complex behaviours is easy.

The Basics

We call this course “The Basics”, not because it is simple but because the tools contained within represent the fundamental parenting tools you need to help your child create a set of behaviours that will allow them to be a productive adult who can have meaningful relationships.

You will be taught all of Dr Wright’s fundamental parenting tools including: Commands not Questions, Yes Dad/Mum Moments, Teachable Moments, The Big Dog, Respect the Instinct, Create Competition, Rule #1, Rule #2, STOP!, The Detective, and more.

Once you access the course, you will be able to watch video of your coach, Dr Craig Wright, explaining the why of child behaviour, explaining the tools you need to help create a healthy set of behaviours for your child, and walking you through the things you need to do to achieve that goal.

The aim is to teach you these fundamental parenting tools so you can apply them flexibly to a broad range of situations and to other children.

Keep an eye out for the release of our No Nonsense Parenting: The Details course which will be providing advice on specific problems such as school drop off, separation anxiety, screen addiction, the morning routine and many more.
